Christian education with a spirit of service

LAUC is a Christian educational institution operated by an independent, self-supporting Seventh-day Adventist ministry. Its educational work brings together biblical faith, practical preparation, and service to God and humanity.

Independent ministry

LAUC is independently operated and is not owned, operated, sponsored, or organizationally affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church denomination.

Our history

A growing educational mission

From professional institute beginnings to a growing university community, LAUC's story is one of education in service of a larger calling.

    1990

    An educational mission takes root

    Ministerio El Evangelio Eterno was established in California as a religious, educational, and philanthropic nonprofit organization, with education included as part of its institutional mission.

  2. 02

    2009

    Rancho La Esperanza

    The ministry's first educational institution, Instituto Rancho La Esperanza, began operating in Valle de Ojos Negros, Ensenada, Baja California.

  3. 03

    January 2015

    Institute established in California

    The Instituto de Naturopatía y Teología began in Alhambra, California, later operating in Baldwin Park, preparing students for Christian ministry, biblical instruction, evangelism, missionary health service, and related areas of service.

    2017

    Transition to LAUC

    In July, the institution transitioned to Latin American University of California at the Los Olivos campus in Perris, California.

    2021

    Program expansion

    An Associate program in Christian Counseling was added, expanding preparation for service to people and communities.

    Today

    Continuing the educational mission

    LAUC continues developing Christian higher education, academic preparation, and digital learning for service to God, students, communities, and the broader mission.
